Important notes:
Arrival at Muscat airport in the morning. All passengers need to apply visa in advance through www.evisa.rop.gov.om / www.rop.gov.om and payment to be made through e-payment gateway in the site. Upon approval of visa application by immigration authorities, the client will receive intimation through email. The clients should carry the print of e-visa document and present to immigration on arrival to stamp visa in passport. USD 53.00 (OMR 20) per person for 30 day visa. After immigration and baggage check, you will enter at the general arrival hall and will be met by our representative who will assist you to comfortably embark your coaster and leave for Al Falaj Hotel. Standard check in time 1400 Hrs . Until the rooms are ready , the guests are allowed to use hotel facilites. After noon by around 1530 Hrs. meet your Guide at Hotel lobby and embark on your private vehicle and proceed for Muscat day city tour. By around 1530 Hrs leave for old part of Muscat and visit Bait Al Zubair Musuem. 1600 Hrs visit Bait Zubair Museum was initially founded as a house by a rich merchant, who had a hobby of collecting antiques and doing photography. Later, he converted his house to a Museum in 1998 showcasing the culture and artifacts of Oman. After the visit of Museum at around 1700 hrs, continue your drive to official palace of His Majesty, Sultan Qaboos. Al Alam Palce is flanked by two portugese fort Jalali and Mirani. Jalali Fort has been completely refurbished and now used as a Museum for guests of State and Royal Family. It is a place where you can communicate with local people and can buy souveniors for friends and family. After spending sometime at the souq return to hotel. Overrnight at Al Falaj Hotel.
Breakfast from Al Falaj Hotel and check out from the hotel, @ 0815 am, meet your English speaking driver cum guide at hotel lobby and embark on your 04WD and leave for Nizwa enroute visit Grand mosque. Grand Mosque is one of the largest Mosques in the world and at one time, it can accommodate 20,000 worshippers. Grand Mosque has beautiful art work, chandeliers and one piece carpet covering entire prayer hall. To visit Mosque, one has to be dressed in conservative manner. One should not wear revealing or transparent clothes and should be covered from head to toe. Ladies have to cover their head with a scarf. Grand Mosque is open for the tourists from Saturday to Thursday from 08:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs. Children below the age of 10 years are not allowed to visit Mosque After One and half hour drive through the black to road you reach Barka fish and vegetable market and visit. Later drive further to visit Al Hazem Fort which is an old ma gnificent fort.. The area is surrounded with date’s plantations. The narrow road through the town winds up to the Hot Springs, which is a popular picnic, spot. (Please keep your own towel incase would like to swin here for a while). After spending some time you enter to Off road terrian of Western hajar mountain . Drive further through famous WADI BANI AWF, a beautiful Wadi in the middle of steep mountain walls. Enjoy your picnic lunch at Wadi The drive further is trilling with stops at breattaking cliffs , mountainous villages of Hat, Bilat Sait etc . Arrive to Jabel shams enroute visit Wadi Gul , one of the mountaious village at in Oman. Jebel Shams’ in arabic means mountain of Sun. The Grand Canyon of Jebel Shams is highest in Oman and third highest in the world. Arrive at Jebel Shams at around 12:30 hrs and enjoy sometime at Grand Canyon and walk for sometime on mountains breathing the fresh air. Dinner & Overnight at Jabel shams camp or similar
After breakfast AT Jebel Shams Camp and check out from the hotel, by 0830 Hrs embark on your 04WD and leave for Visit Nizwa the cultural and heritage capital of Oman . The city was once the capital of “JULANDA DYNASTY” in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort. Leave for Al Hamra. Arrive at the old village of Al Hamra and walk through this village to arrive Bait Al Safa. Bait Al Safa is a local Museum, made by villagers showcasing Omani house. Visit this Museum and enjoy Omani Coffee and dates. Later drive further to Pretty village of Misfah Al Abyeen, one of the mountainous villages on the foot of western hajar mountains. The architectural marvel of mud houses built on the top of Rocky Mountain cliffs is amazing. Later drive towards Bahla one of the mystical villages of Nizwa. At Bahla, photo stop at the magnificent mud fort from 12th century. Therefter you drive to Jabrin is the finest of Oman`s castle built in the late 17th century, which became a seat of Omani learning. This castle has extremely well planned layouts with room for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is really mesmerizing. After the tour of Jabreen, Thereafter drive back to Nizwa and check in to the Falaj Daris Nizwa Hotel. Rest of the afternoon and Overnight at Falaj Daris Nizwa Hotel or similar.
Breakfast at Falaj Daris Nizwa Hotel and check out from the hotel, @ 0830 Hrs embark on your 04WD and leave for visit Nizwa fort. Arrive at Nizwa fort and Visit. Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya’ aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is only by means of a narrow twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird’s eye view of the Nizwa city. {Nizwa Souq closes by 09:30 hrs and Nizwa Fort and Jabrin Castle closes by 11:00 hrs on Fridays.} By 0915 Hrs walk to Souq, and visit. Every Friday, there is cattle market at the souq wherein cattle sellers auction their cattles to locals. This a old market for cattles and atmosphere is electrifying especially before Eid. On all other days normal souq activites perform . There are various buildings/locations allocated for Vegetables, meat, Soveneiers and Spices . Stroll around the souq. Later enroute to Wahiba, visit Wadi bani Khalid. Wadi bani Khaled’ is a stark contrast to Wahiba sands as it is a natural oasis with lot of greenery. Enjoy a short walk or swim in clear green water of natural oasis (no towel from our side). Later continue you drive to Wahiba sands. The 'Wahiba Sands' often described as a perfect example of Sand Sea consists of large ranges of dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of about 100 mts and orange in color. Our experienced drivers will take you on a dune bashing tour through the undulating sand dunes to experience the thrills of dune driving. After dune bashing, visit Bedouin house and meet Bedouin ladies to know more about their life in desert. Enjoy Omani coffee and dates at their house and what ladies do to survive in desert. Evening watch the spectacular sunset from top of Sand dunes. Dinner and overnight at traditional Arabian Oryx Camp or similar.
Early Breakfast at the Desert Camp, by 0700 Hrs leave the camp for an exiting experince in your 04WD. Drive through sea of sand and cross the great arabian desert. You may pass many beduions settlements/ inhabitants. Finaly you reach the southen coast of Wahiba sands. Some of these places where you find ocean coast directly meet the sands. Drive further through the coastal road towards Shanna where you board your ferry with the vehicle to cross the straits and reach Masirah island, which is 65 km long, 15 km wide and is 45 km from the mainland. It will take approximately 2 hrs to reach the Masirah island. On arrival in the Masirah island check in to Masitah Island Resort. Evening at leisure at Hotel.

After breakfast the explore the island. Visit Hiqi, a fishing village on the Western shore of the island fringed by white sands, Masirh a Bedu village on the southeast coast and a small Oasis in the Southern end of the island). Rest of the day is free to explore the island. Overnight stay in Hotel Masirah Island Resort.
Breakfast and check out from Masirah Island. Take the return ferry to Shanna ( Main land) along with the vehicles. Drive further through the black to road and visit “Filim “ one the beautiful spot for migrants birds. Later you also visit “Al Khaluf” a lagoon for migrants birds. The drive through the coastal road , you pass small fishing villages. Later you reach AD duqm.
Ad Duqam is one of bueatiful place in Oman and was one amoung the small fishing villages settlement. Due to close vicinity of petrolum devlopment sites, the village is in fast developmant stage to a town ship after the Commencement of new harbour for petrolum export. Since the hotel projects are in under devlopment stage. On arrival check in to the City Hotel Duqm Hotel. Rest of the afternoon and overnight at City Hotel Duqm.
Beakfast and leave Duqum, Visit the “rock garden” the shape formation with time by influence of Water and wind is one of the natural wonder of the planet. Your next destination of the day will at Ras Madarkah. One of the exiting and beautiful spot for migrant birds and the bueatiful untouched beachs of Oman. You will have stop at the “pink lagoon” at Al Kahil . drive through exiting coastal route, visit Ras Sawqrah, Ras Mutayaf etc. Some of the landcapes you pass by is exiting.
You will be driving on back top new road through the coastal line of Muscat. You may witness dolphins swimming through this untouched coasts. You may also often obstructed by camel that are crossing the road.
While you drive further, enter into a landscape in sharp contrast with the dry barren desert. You pass the qara mountains and reach salalah plain which has natural vegetations. Salalah is known as the paradise of Middle east or perfume city of Oman. On arrival at Salalah, you check in at Crowne Plaza resort Salalah.
Rest of the day and Dinner and overnight at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah.
After breakfast, check out from hotel and meet your guide and board your vehicle to for Full day tour of East and West Salalah.
First we move towards the East. Visit the fishing village of Taqa with an interesting castle surrounded by watch towers and Taqa stone houses. Proceed onward to Khor Rori creek, the site of the ruined city of Samhuram (visit from outside), and capital of ancient Arabia’s Frankincense trade. Mirbat, the ancient capital of Dhofar, was an important town as early as the 9th century for its trade in frankincense, horses and slaves. See some of the old houses famous for its woodcarvings. One of Dhofar’s best known historic sites is Bin Ali’s tomb. The twin domed structure; tomb of Mohamed Ali who died in 1135 AD is a fine example of medieval architecture.
We first drive to grand mosque of Salalah. Outside Photo stop of the beautiful Grand Mosque with Its exquisite artwork and stained tiles. Visit the Al Husn souq, where frankincense crystals of Dhofar and typical Dhofari frankincense burners are sold. Walk along the city’s promenade (waterfront corniche) where single storey houses are dwarfed by tall swaying palms.
Photo stop at (view from outside) Al Husn Palace, summer residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos stands at one end of the promenade. Visit the Al Balid Museum which is famous for the Dhofari costumes in the south (Sat – Wed only). After the tour drop off the guets at Crowne Plaza Salalah and overnight at hotel.
